FOUNDRY DIVISION

Gokul Metatech Pvt. Ltd. is a leading ductile iron foundry based in Belgaum, India, specializing in high-quality SG iron components and assemblies for domestic and export markets. Established in 2010, the company operates a fully automated production facility with a total capacity of 2000 MT/month—500 MT from the DISA ARPA line and 1500 MT from the newly commissioned High Pressure Moulding Line (HPML). With a moulding speed of 140 moulds per hour and casting capabilities ranging from 2 to 80 kg, Gokul Metatech ensures efficiency, precision, and consistency in every casting. The foundry is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and digital systems, supported by a skilled workforce of over 300 employees.

MELTING

MAGNESIUM WIRE TREATMENT 

At Gokul Metatech, we use a Fully Automated Core Wire Treatment System for precise Magnesium (Mg) treatment. Integrated with a SCADA system, the machine automatically captures critical data including molten metal temperature (via pyrometer), sulfur content (via spectrometer), and liquid metal weight (via weigh scale). Using this real-time data, the system calculates the exact core wire length required for Mg treatment, ensuring consistent, accurate, and controlled residual magnesium levels in every batch.

CORE SHOP

Our Core Shop is equipped with a fully automated system for the production of high-quality sand cores, ensuring precision, consistency, and efficiency at every stage. We utilize three Cold Box Core Shooter machines (Galaxy Make) for core production. The core sand preparation is fully automated, featuring a bucket elevator for feeding fresh core sand and a SCADA-controlled mixing system for accurate dosing and mixing of Part A and Part B chemical components. An automated pouring system further enhances process control and reliability.

Post-production, all cores undergo baking in a controlled oven and are tested for scratch hardness to ensure optimal strength and quality. Core storage and handling are managed through dedicated trolleys and trays, ensuring safe and organized movement of cores within the facility.
